2023-24 JV Softball Roster
The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles are excited to announce their 2023-24 JV Softball Roster. The team is led by Head Coach Tiffany Pitts, who is entering her 10th season at the helm. Coach Pitts has led the Eagles to four NCCAA National Championships and three WCWS appearances during her tenure.
The roster features a mix of experienced players and talented newcomers. The Eagles return several key players from last year's team, including All-American pitcher and infielder Maria Sanchez. Sanchez is one of the most decorated players in program history, and she is expected to lead the Eagles once again this season.
In addition to Sanchez, the Eagles also return several other key players from last year's team, including infielder Breanna Robinson and outfielder Ashlee Burris. Robinson is a two-time All-NCCAA selection, and she is one of the team's top hitters. Burris is a speedster who can provide a spark at the top of the lineup.
2023 Softball Schedule
The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles will open their 2023 season on February 10th at home against the Southwestern Assemblies of God University Lions. The Eagles will play a 56-game schedule this season, including 28 home games.
The Eagles will face a challenging schedule this season, including games against several ranked opponents. The Eagles will open their season with a three-game series against the 10th-ranked University of Texas at Tyler Patriots. The Eagles will also face the 15th-ranked Oklahoma City University Stars and the 18th-ranked Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals during the regular season.
